Place Your Life Before God
12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going to work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
Metamorphoses = ‘A change of physical form, structure or substance especially by supernatural means’
I am very aware these days of what my body can and cannot do. It is a little bit of a reality check these days but the older I am growing, I still wish to pursue whatever physical exercise I am able to cope with to continue moving forward for a better me 😊

I have been working through a set of books by an author I enjoy, ‘Graham Cooke’ and it said – ‘IT’S TIME’. Time to make a choice to step up and be intentional about the change we are looking for. So I think I will choose the following…
FOCUS – like the verse above in Romans says, center your attention on God and all that He is bringing around you in this season thru his word and take a hold of them for the promises they hold for you.
ADVANCEMENT / BREAKTHRU – be attentive to promptings of what things He is calling you to lay down and sacrifice in this season – as Jesus Christ desires us to move forward, unburdened, and in freedom.
FAVOUR – sharing with others what we have learned and been blessed with.
In processing the above, I have come to understand that getting past my own thinking patterns and ‘transforming’ my mind on certain areas is probably a big hurdle so when I looked up the meaning of the word ‘Metamorphosis’ I was really captured by the ‘supernatural means’!
I do believe that Jesus Christ in me is the ‘supernatural means’ for me to be changed in this season so again my current reading material shares that – transformation comes when we allow the following three things – Release, Power, and Favour.
So I am believing for…
RELEASE – cleansing my mind and thinking to start afresh and Lord use me as a clean slate.
POWER – Holy Spirit come wash over me each day so I am equipped for your purpose. (see the daily prayer that encourages that below)
FAVOUR – Lord Jesus come use me again so others around me don’t miss out on what you have for them.
If I can be proactive in all the above then I know that I am choosing to put my best foot forward and will see the changes needed. The one other item really needed to bring this all together is PRAYER! Staying totally in touch with my Heavenly Father so I don’t miss anything that He has for me. This is why my church encourages equipping ourselves in this season with the following prayer – be blessed!
