God is doing the most extraordinary things around us in this season, and I am so very excited for what He has in store for us all on this journey!
After recent personal events where we have been busy with hosting young people from interstate and attending conference days together – although tiring my passion has been renewed and I am inspired again for the role I have been called to uphold – like others who have gone before me (great missionaries, my parents, great ministers of the faith) to stand at my post and be all God asks of me in this season!
I have heard on a number of different media avenues, of how the enemy of our souls is doing their utmost to bring down ‘women’s worth’ as they know that God has blessed us to reproduce life from within us (below is link for one such mention)

We should never underestimate how God can use us, regardless of where he has us on our journey, either in the home, in the workplace, friendships, spheres of influence etc. We are all able to be a catalyst for amazing things if we allow God to use us the way He wants and that means us saying Yes to His way of doing it and now ours.
In 2018 I posted a blog and here is a portion from that….
In my travels to Zurich last year (2017) I was told a story when on a walking tour of the city, where in the year 1292 women were all that were left standing to defend their city (men were off at war elsewhere) so the women stood their ground,
dressed in armour etc and stood on the city walls so the enemy coming were intimidated (thinking they were men from a distance) and turned around to run away! (read Hedwig Fountain on Lindenhof Hill in Zurich for more details – below are picture taken in the old town square of fountain and statue of woman dressed in armour) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hedwig_Fountain
I was blown away by the tour guide sharing the above story with us and especially standing there in the old town square up above the river and imagining the army coming against their defenceless city – what faith those women would have had to arouse within themselves to choose to put on their men’s armour and stand their ground on those city walls to act as a defence ‘watchmen’ on the wall for that time.
A bit like Queen Esther having to be brave enough to confront the King on behalf of her fellow Jews and her uncle saying to her….
For if you remain silent at this time, liberation and rescue will arise for the Jews from another place, and you and your father’s house will perish [since you did not help when you had the chance]. And who knows whether you have attained royalty for such a time as this [and for this very purpose]?” – Esther 4:14 AMP
God sets purpose within every one of us and we need to be attentive to Him speaking to us, even mothers, for when those times arise – see link - https://www.instagram.com/reel/DABcsiuIQrS/?igsh=MWljejhzaGE1MGU5cQ==
11 In Him also we have [a]received an inheritance [a destiny—we were claimed by God as His own], having been predestined (chosen, appointed beforehand) according to the purpose of Him who works everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His will, 12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him as our Lord and Savior] would exist to the praise of His glory. – Ephesians 1:11-12 AMP
10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. – Ephesians 2:10 AMP
Like the gentleman in link above shared, he was changed at 7yrs of age by that event in his life and I too can say with certainty by an event when I was 10yrs old that God had my number…
(Chapter 3)
My walk with God started very young as I remember the day I gave my life to the
Lord at a kid’s camp, at the age of 10 down the south coast of NSW at
Gerringong Uniting Church.
When I was ten, it was an older veranda that I knelt on, saying the prayer
that invited Him into my life to be Lord and King. A female leader on that camp
wrote a scripture back then for me that was to have a profound impact on my life
much later.
(Chapter 9)
A few weeks before travelling to Sri Lanka, in August 2008, on a mission trip, our
team of three had the intercessors at our church pray for us before going. In that
session, a passage of scripture (Ephesians 6) was read over us, and one particular verse so stood out to me;
Verse 13 ‘…having done all, to stand.’
In an instant it was read out, God took me back to when I was ten years old,
where that same verse was written out and given to me by a church leader (Ann Thomas) when I gave my life to Christ at kids camp. While intercessors were still
praying, the Lord said to me that He had that written back then for me now and
as well he showed me a picture (in my mind) of where that original scripture was
written down, at home (I had not remembered where I had stored book, but God
did). I cannot explain in a few words the impact that had on me – to know that
God saw me standing in front of hundreds of Women preaching in the present
back when I was only ten years old.

I am going to choose to continue being a ‘watchmen’ on the wall of circumstances God has me part of and will also continue praying my heart out over all those loved ones I have relationship with as I know God has great purpose for them also.
We are indeed in a war for the Kingdom of God, and it will not be complete until He returns so ‘keep standing’ for all God asks of you and ‘keep watch on your section of the wall’!
…even those who carried building materials (for the wall) worked with one hand and kept a weapon in the other, - Nehemiah 4:17 GNT
