Going Where Jesus Sends Us

Earlier last month I saw the attached picture on my social media and was inspired by it because the Lord has been highlighting a word that He gave my husband and I many, many years ago to go…

About 42 years ago my husband was offered a job for us to move to the other side of our nation, 3,852km to be precis. Because of that we were given a prophetic word at the time that we would be sent like John the Baptist to go ahead and prepare the way for what the Lord had for us.

What the Lord was reminding me of from this was, He has done that a number of times throughout our married life and He does not disappoint!

1985 – moved 3,852km to the other side of our great nation

1994 – moved from one church to another during a season of turmoil and over the following months of God moving miraculously in our city, many of the leadership we were part of, questioned us of what the Lord was doing in the church we were now attending so in confidence they came along to where we were and were added into the leadership of where God planted us – amazing because we found out later that, that very church had a prophecy many years earlier that the Lord would bring to the house, already prepared leadership to carry the ministry forward!

2004 – through miraculous, financial blessing to not only us but to the church, God orchestrated for us to move further away from the close proximity of our church family, but we continued to drive back to our church as we did not feel to leave.  People felt we were so far away but over the years the Lord brought people to us and we were able to spiritually bless, mentor and love on them through running a connect for God to continue moving in lives.

2026 – Again, the Lord prompted and orchestrated for us to move further away from the proximity of our church family, but again we continued to drive back to the ‘same church’ as we still don’t feel led to leave.  We are trusting that the Lord will again bring people to us to minister to, mentor and love on for Him to have the glory.

In our last move, the lord gave my husband and I a scripture that we felt to pray over our new home and beyond so we decided to have it made into a large wall sticker and we finally received it in the mail (through a first initial failed attempt) and have now added it to our wall!

Believing to see God do the miraculous in our sphere of influence as we continue being His hands and feet, where He has placed us for this season.
